My brother says our family bullet journal is pointless, but it fixed our chore wars.

Tracking chores together ended our weekly fights.

Building on what @kaid45 said, having a physical chart like that can really change how people view their tasks. It turns vague arguments into clear facts, so everyone knows exactly what's been done and what's left. We added a color coded system to our journal for urgency, which cut down on forgotten tasks by half. Seeing progress visually makes it less of a chore and more like a team goal.

Seeing who does what in writing stops the 'I did it last time' fights. It makes everyone accountable without having to nag.

My roommate and I put a chore chart on our fridge last year and it completely stopped those same fights.
