I brought my bullet journal to a team meeting and forgot it had my angry doodles about the project in the margins

I was sitting in the conference room on Tuesday, flipping to my notes section, when Kevin from accounting leaned over and pointed at the tiny frowning face I drew next to his name last week, and I just closed the book and said I had a dentist appointment.

You mentioned you just closed the book and said you had a dentist appointment. I actually think a little honesty might have gone over better there. Most people would probably just laugh about the doodles if you owned up to them.

My cousin once told his boss he was late because his cat had a panic attack, and somehow that worked better than the truth would have. Sometimes you just gotta go with the weird excuse and see where it lands.
