Halved my monthly spread by ripping out the habit trackers
My therapist in Portland told me last month to drop every repetitive tracker and just keep the daily log, I thought she was nuts since habit tracking was half my setup. Two weeks in and my index is shorter, I actually stick with it longer, and I'm not sitting there resentfully shading three boxes every night. Anyone else cut a whole module out and find the system worked better?
You say you're "not sitting there resentfully shading three boxes every night" but that resentment is kind of the point. Shading those boxes is a tiny check-in with yourself, and when you skip it, you lose the data that shows you're actually doing the work. Two weeks feels great, but two weeks is nothing. Most people who drop their trackers feel free right up until the day they realize they've gone six weeks without flossing or reading or whatever the boxes were for.
