Got told my collections were too busy, made a huge change
A friend said my weekly spreads looked like a yard sale had exploded. I cut down to just 3 highlighters and one tiny doodle per page and suddenly I actually stick with it. Has anyone else had to simplify after someone called them out?

Mason, I have totally been there - scaling back feels weird but it's actually such a relief.

Wait, you went from a full blown yard sale to just 3 highlighters and one tiny doodle? That's wild, I don't think I could ever get that disciplined. My own bullet journal still has like 8 different colors going on and I end up skipping weeks at a time because it's too much work. What kind of highlighters did you settle on?
