TIL my loose change jar bought a whole grill after two summers of saving

Two whole summers of just coin saving is what gets me. My change jar maybe gets me a cheap pizza after six months. The weight alone must have been crazy, like hauling a sack of rocks to the coinstar every few weeks.

Yeah, but hauling that sack was probably part of the fun for them. It turns saving into something physical you can feel, which makes the goal more real. That weight just means the grill was earned, not just bought.
