TIL my 'cheap' espresso habit was costing me $42 a month

I added up my coffee shop receipts from last month after my card statement came in. Turns out I was dropping $4.20 almost every workday on a medium latte. That's $42 in one month, $500 a year. I bought a $25 stovetop moka pot and a $9 bag of ground beans. First week in and I'm at $14 total for the month so far. Anybody else surprised by a small daily habit adding up like that?
