TIL comparing Costco vs Aldi for our monthly groceries saved us $180 in one trip

I usually just grab stuff at whichever store is closest but last month I actually sat down and did a side by side of my normal list between Costco and Aldi. Costco wins on bulk meat and cheese but Aldi crushes it on produce and pantry staples by like 30-40% less. Ended up splitting the trip hitting both stores and our total dropped from $420 to $240 for the month. Anyone else found a combo that works better than sticking to one store?

Don't forgot to check unit prices at both stores since they use different package sizes.

You meant "don't forget" not "don't forgot" there. Easy mix up though, happens to the best of us. Unit pricing is definitely the way to go when comparing different package sizes.
