The cashier at my Kroger in Dayton got me to try the envelope thing
I was buying a $9 bag of dog food last Tuesday and the cashier, Denise, saw me counting coins out of three different pockets. She said she keeps six envelopes in her glovebox and hasn't used a card for groceries in 2 years. Something about hearing it from a person holding my receipt hit harder than any app. Anyone here do the cash thing and how do you handle gas money without it getting weird?
