Shoutout to my local library for helping me hit a savings goal

I tracked all my spending for three months and saw I was dropping about $75 a month on books and magazines. I got a library card and started borrowing everything instead, which let me put that cash straight into my emergency fund. Has anyone else found a simple swap that added up faster than you thought?

What about cutting out coffee runs?

Wait, cutting out coffee runs entirely? That's like asking me to stop breathing. The whole point of the coffee run is the walk, the break from the screen. You're not just buying a drink, you're saving your sanity for twenty minutes. That's the one thing keeping me from throwing my keyboard some days.

Used to think it was just a waste of money. Then I tracked my spending for a month and saw it was over a hundred bucks on fancy lattes. That's a real bill right there. Made me get a decent home machine and now the walk is just a walk.
