Remember when a grocery trip for two cost $60
10 years ago I could walk into Aldi with a $60 bill and walk out with a full cart. Meat, veggies, snacks, even a guilty treat or two. Last week I spent $85 and got maybe half the amount. I don't buy fancy stuff either, just the basics. It made me start meal planning around what's on sale rather than what I'm craving. Has anyone else noticed their grocery budget creeping up faster than they can adjust?

Honestly, I still do pretty well at Aldi for around $60. You have to stick to the basic staples and skip the pre-made stuff.

Man, it's rough out there. I started doing the same - checking the weekly ads before I even make a list and it saves me a solid $20 each trip. Definitely not as fun as just grabbing whatever looks good but my wallet thanks me.
