My $9 rice cooker from the Goodwill on 82nd turned out to be the best kitchen buy I ever made
We were bleeding about $85 a month on takeout lunches until I started batch cooking rice and beans in it on Sunday nights. Last week I fed the two of us for nine bucks total, which is less than one sad burrito bowl. Anyone else got a random thrift store gadget that ended up paying for itself?
