I was dead set against meal prepping for years...
Finally caved after wasting $60 on takeout in one week. Prepping 5 lunches on Sunday cost me $22 total and I actually ate all of them. Has anyone else found a meal prep routine that doesn't take all day?

I dunno, I see meal prep differently. It takes me most of Sunday to get everything chopped, cooked, and portioned, and by Wednesday I'm usually bored of eating the same thing. Your mileage may vary, but I'd rather spend a bit more on fresh stuff during the week than lose my whole weekend to Tupperware.

The whole Sunday just for chopping?

I read something from a food blogger named Melissa over at Budget Bytes that really changed how I look at this. She said prepping just the high-effort parts like chopping onions or marinating meat saves way more time than people think. So now I spend maybe 2 hours on Sunday just doing the heavy lifting stuff, not the full meal prep. It helps me avoid getting sick of eating the same thing by Wednesday because I can mix up the leftovers differently. Maybe try just chopping and prepping the basics instead of making everything in one go.
