Hit my $500 emergency fund goal while digging out my car from a snowbank last Tuesday

I was literally shoveling slush off my windshield when I checked my bank app and realized I'd actually hit that milestone without even noticing, which felt way better than the blizzard I was standing in.

Hear me out @hollyc92, it wasn't exactly a snowbank it was more like a car that wouldn't start for 20 minutes lol. But yeah, checking my bank app was mostly just to distract myself from how much I hated life in that moment. Kinda funny how being miserable can accidentally help you notice good news.
