Chose a $12 notebook over a $300 app and it worked out weirdly well
Had to decide between snagging that fancy budgeting software or just using a basic notebook from the dollar store in Austin. Picked the notebook because my bank account was already sad that month. Three weeks in I caught myself color coding my coffee spending with highlighters and honestly it's kind of embarrassing how much I look forward to writing it down. Anyone else go backwards to paper and actually like it more?
