Batch cooking kicked my food delivery habit to the curb

I was wasting so much cash on having meals brought to my house every week. It hit me when I saw my bank statement and realized I could have paid off a credit card. So I started making huge batches of chili and pasta on my day off. I pack them up for the whole week so I always have food ready. Now my grocery bill is way lower and I don't pay those crazy fees. Some people think cooking big meals is a chore, but it saves me over $200 a month. I figured out that having food on hand stops me from spending when I'm lazy. This is a huge win for my budget and my peace of mind.

Yeah, that "big pot of soup each Sunday" thing hits on a bigger idea. It seems like having one good routine, even a small one, can make the whole week feel more under control. Saves money and mental energy, lol.

Found that making a big pot of soup each Sunday really cut my spending too.
