Why does nobody talk about eating grocery store hot food on long bus trips

Last month I took a Greyhound from Portland to Seattle. Everyone was buying overpriced airport snacks. I grabbed a hot rotisserie chicken and some rolls from a Fred Meyer before boarding. Cost me $8 total. Ate like a king while the guy next to me paid $14 for a sad sandwich. Has anyone else figured out better pre-bus meal hacks?

Oh man, the smell of that rotisserie chicken on a bus is a power move I can't even handle lol. That guy with the $14 sandwich probably felt like a chump while you were tearing into hot poultry like a bus-riding king. Let me guess, you had the whole armrest to yourself too because everyone was too scared to ask for a bite. Next time bring some wet wipes though, that grease gets everywhere and the bus bathroom is a war zone lmao.

Wet wipes aren't enough, bring a whole napkin stash.
