Unpopular opinion: Sketching on napkins is the ultimate budget travel souvenir

I decided to save money by ditching sketchbooks and using free cafe napkins, but my masterpiece got used to wipe up a spill. Your mileage may vary, but it taught me that sometimes frugality has its messy moments.

But what about when the sketch gets ruined, like yours did? @susan898 kinda has a point about memories being key. Maybe the lost napkin adds to the story.

Ngl, does that make you question if the memory or the physical sketch matters more?

Rough souvenir, but @the_brian has a point about memories.
