Trying to get from Berlin to Prague, I compared FlixBus tickets bought a month out versus the day before.

The month-out ticket was 19 euros, but the last-minute one shot up to 65. That extra 46 euros basically paid for two nights in my hostel. Anyone know other routes where booking early makes this big a difference?

Try checking train prices for that same route.

Check train prices like kelly385 said, but in my experience they can be just as bad for last-minute deals. I've seen that Berlin to Prague train jump over 80 euros if you wait. The real killer routes are the overnight buses to cities like Vienna or Budapest, where the late price can triple.
