The hostel laundry trick that saved me $60 in Tokyo
I was in Tokyo last spring and realized I was running out of clean clothes after just 3 days. Instead of paying the hostel's $8 per load, I bought a tiny bottle of travel detergent at a 7-Eleven for $2 and hand-washed stuff in the sink. Then I rolled everything in my towel to squeeze out the water and hung it on the bunk bed frame with binder clips I brought. It dried overnight since Tokyo is pretty dry inside most hostels. Anyone else got a weird laundry hack for avoiding expensive hostel services?

Used to think sink laundry was gross but this actually makes sense.

Nah still gross. Who wants damp clothes sitting in a bathroom all day?
