My airport food budget used to be a total joke

Honestly, I'd just grab whatever looked good at the terminal and drop $25 on a sad sandwich. Last year in Denver, I started packing a full meal in a collapsible container from the hotel breakfast. Saved me like $80 across a single trip. Anyone got other tricks for avoiding airport robbery?

My buddy Mark got a whole rotisserie chicken through TSA in Atlanta, just had to declare it at the scanner lol.
