Just realized my credit card has free travel insurance I never used

I was booking a hostel in Barcelona last week for a 5 day trip and decided to finally read the fine print on my Chase card. Turns out it covers trip cancellation and lost luggage up to $1,500. I've been buying separate insurance for years like a dummy. Did anyone else discover a hidden perk on a card they already had?

Wait are you sure it covers trip cancellation on a $1,500 limit? I have a Chase card too and the fine print says lost luggage is only up to like $500, not $1,500. Actually most cards cap trip cancellation at $10k or so but the lost luggage limit is way lower.
