My cousin works for an airline and she told me it's all over the place now. The Tuesday rule died years ago. I check prices on Sunday nights and Wednesday afternoons and just watch for a week. Sometimes the price drops on a Thursday morning for no reason. You just have to be ready to book when you see a good number.

So what day did you end up finding was actually the cheapest? I've heard that whole Tuesday thing is a total myth now, and it seems to change based on the airline and where you're flying.
