I booked a flight to Berlin on a Tuesday and saved $127

For years I just looked at flights on weekends when I had time to plan. Last month I checked prices on a Monday, then again on a Tuesday morning. The same exact flight to Berlin was $127 cheaper 24 hours later. I looked it up and airlines often adjust prices mid-week based on how many seats are left. Now I check prices over a few days before I buy, and I've seen the same pattern with hotels. It takes an extra minute but the savings are real. Has anyone else found a specific day that's usually cheapest for booking?

Oh wow, that's a solid find! It's wild how much prices can swing based on stuff we never see. I've noticed this kind of hidden pattern with a lot of things, not just travel. Like grocery delivery fees being lower on rainy days, or how gas stations near me all seem to change prices on the same morning. It feels like you have to learn the secret timing for everything now just to not get ripped off.

Ever notice how @diana20's gas station thing works with parking meters too?

Yeah, that's a smart move. @diana20 is right, it's like you need a decoder ring for basic stuff now. I swear my electric bill has a secret schedule too, the rates seem to jump at the exact same time every afternoon when everyone gets home. Makes you wonder what else runs on a hidden clock.
