Hit 4,000 miles on $212 in gas, here's how I tracked it
I started tracking every fill-up since January just to prove my buddy wrong about road trips being pricier than flying to Denver from here. After 6 months and a spreadsheet I barely understood, the total came out to $212 for 4,000 miles which is way under what one round-trip ticket would've cost. Anyone else keep a fuel log or do you just eyeball your budget?

I kept a fuel log for two years and switched to hybrid after mile 5,000.
1
