Booked a "budget" hostel in Lisbon that turned out to be a construction site

I showed up last Thursday and the whole lobby was gutted with workers drilling at 7am every day. Has anyone else had luck getting a refund from Hostelworld for something like this or do I just eat the $180 and move on?

Bet they threw in free earplugs as a "cultural experience" too, huh?

Bet they handed out those little foam tips like party favors and called it "authentic local flavor"... I heard the next tour includes free gas masks for the "full sensory immersion" package... Nothing says culture like protecting your ears from the prime attraction, right?
