The $2 rice at the Asian market on 8th changed how I do taco night
My friend Rosa looked at my grocery list a few weeks back and said I was wasting money buying those little bags of rice at the regular store. She took me to the Asian market on 8th street and a 25 pound bag cost me $19, which works out to about $2 per week for my family of four. Now I cook a big pot every Sunday and taco night costs me under $6 total instead of the $14 I used to spend. Anyone else got a store like that where the bulk price just blows your mind?
