That cheap meal prep kit deal cost me 40 bucks and a ruined Saturday

I saw a deal for 10 freezer meals at 4 bucks each from a local delivery service, thought I was saving money. Turns out the portions were tiny and two of the bags leaked all over my fridge. Anyone else get burned by one of those grocery delivery kits that sounded too good?

Started off skeptical about meal kit deals honestly, figured people were being dramatic. But after my own fridge got turned into a leaky mess I have to agree with @karen_west59 that it's a hard way to learn your lesson. Definitely won't trust one of those too-good-to-be-true offers again without checking reviews first.

My leaking bag incident turned my fridge into a soup kitchen. Guess I paid 40 bucks for a new hobby.

So now you're basically running a sous vide operation out of your fridge. Just be glad you found out the hard way instead of on a camping trip or something.
