Stop buying pre-chopped vegetables and save $5 a week

I see so many people wasting money on bags of pre-chopped onions and peppers at the grocery store. Last month I bought a whole onion for 50 cents instead of a $3 bag of chopped ones. It takes me about 2 minutes to chop it myself with a knife. Why are we paying 6 times more just to skip a little cutting work? Has anyone else noticed this markup at their local store?

Oh man, I used to be so guilty of this! I started buying whole onions and peppers a few months ago and honestly it saves me way more than I expected. The extra minute of chopping is totally worth it for the cash I keep in my pocket.

Ngl I still buy the pre-chopped stuff half the time out of pure laziness.
