My weekly grocery bill used to be over $100, now it's under $60.
A few months back, I was buying a lot of pre-cut veggies and single-serve stuff. It added up fast. I switched to buying whole vegetables and a big bag of rice. I cook a big pot of beans every Sunday. That one change cut my costs by almost half. Anyone have other cheap base ingredients they always keep on hand?

Under $60" sounds like a made up number to me.

Seriously, where do these numbers even come from? It's like they just pick a price that sounds good without any real reason. You see it all the time with those "under $50" or "under $100" tags on stuff. Is it based on what things cost to make, or is it just a nice round number to get people to click? Feels totally random most of the time.

Totally. My buddy bought a "under $60" lamp that broke instantly.
