Frozen veggies saved my grocery budget this month

I used to buy fresh broccoli and bell peppers every week but they'd go bad before I used them all. Started buying frozen bags instead and I'm saving about $15 a week since nothing rots in the fridge. Has anyone else had luck mixing frozen and fresh to keep costs down?

Wow, $15 a week feels like a lot just for switching to frozen, are we really that broke?

Yeah a friend of mine tried that frozen switch and her first week she bought frozen chicken, frozen veggies, and some frozen fruit and it was like $18 more than her usual because she didn't check the per-pound price @lindaowens. She said the bag sizes were totally different so she ended up with way less food than she thought. After that she started comparing unit prices and now she saves like $5-8 a week on frozen stuff when she buys the store brand.
