Bought a $40 rice cooker to save money, now I'm not sure it did
I grabbed a cheap 3-cup rice cooker from Walmart back in March thinking it would cut down on takeout. Turns out I eat way more rice now because it's so easy, so my grocery bill actually went up about $15 a month. On the other hand, my partner says it paid for itself by stopping our weekly $9 fried rice orders. Anyone else find that a budget gadget just made them cook more instead of saving cash?

Eh, you're overthinking a $40 rice cooker, honestly.
