Had a homeowner in Cincinnati ask me to build a brick wall 'with a wave pattern' for his koi pond.
He showed me a picture from a cartoon, and I spent an hour trying to explain why mortar doesn't work like that on a curve. He just kept pointing at the drawing and saying, 'But it looks so easy here.' What's the weirdest request you've ever gotten from a client?

Reality doesn't bend that way" seems a bit dramatic for a wavy brick wall.

Ever notice how people think real life works like a cartoon? They see something simple in a drawing and think physics just takes a day off. I had a guy once ask me to run wire through a solid concrete beam like it was a piece of string. He saw it in a movie. Reality doesn't bend that way, and mortar sure doesn't either.
