Why does nobody bring up the 2023 Bud Light thing when they talk about brand comebacks
Back in April 2023 a guy I work with in Nashville swore the whole thing would blow over in 3 weeks and the brand would be fine by summer. It's been almost 2 years now and their sales still haven't clawed back to where they were, and the two cooldown ads they ran with the Clydesdales didn't really move anything either. I keep seeing people act like every online mess is forgettable, but this one shows the damage can just sit there. Does anyone have an example where a brand actually won back the people it lost, or is that just a myth?
