That pizza place's apology post made it ten times worse
Saw a local shop in Denver get caught using stock photos of 'their' food. Someone called them out with receipts. Their response was a long post about 'passion' and 'craft'. Didn't mention the photos once. They doubled down and said the real pies look 'even better'. Lost the thread completely. Deleted the post after 40 angry comments. Anyone else see brands dig a deeper hole instead of just saying 'our bad'?

Kinda weird they deleted the whole post instead of just swapping in real food pics and owning it. Stock photo thing is dumb but not unforgivable, every place does it at some point. Saying the real pies look even better was the actual mistake, that's just begging for someone to show up with a side by side comparison. Forty comments is a slow Tuesday for most spots, but they made it look like a crisis by panicking. Deleting just makes people save the screenshots and repost them, which is what probably happened anyway.
