That $200 dress I ordered from that indie brand on Instagram arrived completely wrong

I bought a handmade wrap dress from a small brand called Willow & Vine after seeing their ads everywhere, but when it showed up last Tuesday the fabric was totally different and the sizing was off by three inches. They blamed it on a 'production error' but their Instagram is full of comments from other people with the same issue from the same batch. Has anyone else gotten stuck with a brand that hypes up small-batch quality but can't deliver on basic orders?

Is anyone actually checking if the brand used a different manufacturer for this batch? @evan_wilson18 might be onto something if his bag peeled fast too. Could be they switched suppliers to keep up with demand and didn't tell anyone. I've seen this with a few small-batch brands where the second run is totally different fabric or hardware. Worth asking them point blank for the factory name, not just a refund.
