Still cringing about that Clorox spin mop from 2 years ago

Back in 2023, my handle snapped clean off while I was wringing out the mop, and I got dirty water ALL over my kitchen floor. Their customer service sent me a replacement handle but it took 6 weeks and they never admitted the design was flawed. Has anyone else had a mop or cleaning tool just fall apart on them and the company acted like it was your fault?

Buddy of mine had a Swiffer WetJet that just quit spraying after three months. Customer service told him he probably didn't clean it right.

Wait, do I need to read a manual just to keep a mop working? I mean, I barely read the instructions for my coffee maker, and that thing just makes brown water. Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like if a product needs a PhD in Swiffer maintenance to survive three months, maybe it's the product that's the problem. My buddy's WetJet started leaking after he refilled it with the wrong water - apparently tap water is a no-go? I just assumed you dump and spray, not that you need to do a full chemistry check on your H2O. Customer service always says "you probably didn't clean it right" and I'm like, "sir, I can barely keep my cat alive, you think I'm properly maintaining a plastic stick with a spray button?

He said he probably didn't clean it right because that's the standard go-to when companies don't want to admit their product is cheap. Most people don't follow the cleaning instructions exactly and then blame the mop or Swiffer instead of themselves. Those handles snap because people crank on them too hard, not because the design is bad.
