Spent 2 hours on hold with Comcast and finally hung up with zero answers
What finally convinced me to switch providers was when the customer service rep admitted on a recorded line that they've been having 'known outages in my area for 6 months' with no fix scheduled.

Right but you're framing this like Comcast is being malicious when really they're just a massive company struggling to keep up with infrastructure that's literally crumbling in some places. I mean at least they admitted it on the record, most providers will gaslight you for hours and then blame your router for a known regional blackout. Honestly staying with them is still cheaper than switching to a fiber startup that'll probably go bankrupt in 18 months and leave you with no internet at all.

@kelly_west74 my 2010 fridge outlasted my 2020 model by years already.
