Shoutout to the brand that actually deleted their offensive post instead of leaving it up with an apology pinned underneath
I have been watching this trend for a while now where companies mess up, post some tone deaf thing, then just slap an apology comment on it. It is lazy and honestly feels like they are trying to have it both ways. Last Tuesday I saw a snack company post a joke about food allergies that was in terrible taste. They took it down within an hour. No excuse, no drawn out statement. Just gone. I wish more brands would do that instead of keeping the bad post up for engagement. Do you think it helps them or hurts them when they leave the original post up?

Idk, deleting it fast worked for my friend's small shop when they posted a bad meme.

Are people really getting that worked up over a meme from a small shop? Seems like most folks would just scroll past it and move on.
