My buddy worked at that meal kit place. He said they kept sending these emails about "record growth" and "team spirit." Then he checked the public permit filings for their warehouse. They'd quietly asked to double the number of loading docks. The math didn't add up. The "growth" was just replacing people who were sprinting for the exits.
