Appreciation post: a stranger in line at the grocery store gave me the best take on that whole 'FreshBite' apology video

I was just grabbing milk last Tuesday when the guy behind me, named Dave, saw the FreshBite salad kit in my cart and just shook his head. He said, 'That apology they posted was all about supply chain issues, but my cousin works at their plant in Toledo and says the recall was because a manager skipped three safety checks.' It stuck with me because it shows how a brand's story can be totally different from what's happening on the floor. Has anyone else heard a totally different reason for a brand's mess from someone who actually works there?
