Paid $199 for a year of that influencer outreach tool and it surfaced 47 'brands' where 41 were just affiliate signup forms | Brand Deal Scams - SMM Buzz
47 "brands" from a $199 tool is rough, but I want to push back on one thing. Affiliate signup forms are not always junk leads. Some of those programs pay really well, and a few of them turn into real partnerships once you actually talk to a human. The problem is the tool did not tell you which ones were worth your time. It just dumped a list on you and called it outreach. For 199 bucks a year that is a data sorting problem, not a scam. What you needed was the tool to score each one, maybe by showing if they have an active program, what they pay, and whether anyone has actually worked with them. Without that, you are paying for a spreadsheet you could have built yourself in a weekend.
