TIL not to park in the Bothell Landing lot after 8pm
Last Saturday I parked near the playground around 8:15pm to walk my dog, and a security guard came up and said they lock the gates at 9pm sharp. He told me he's seen 12 cars get towed this month alone from that lot. Has anyone else gotten trapped in there overnight?

Oh man, you got lucky. I got stuck in that same lot two years ago and it was a nightmare. My car was the only one left when I came back from a late hike and the chain was already across the entrance. Had to call a friend to come pick me up and then come back at 6am when they unlocked it. The security company is no joke either, they had my plates on file before I even knew what happened. Your mileage may vary on this, but I always park at the Safeway down the street now and walk over. That lot is a trap if you lose track of time.

The security company is no joke" is right, they don't mess around. Same thing happened to me except they sent me a bill in the mail a week later for "trespassing" even though I was already gone by the time they locked it.
