The Bothell library parking lot is an absolute disaster after 4pm

I hit the Bothell library yesterday around 4:30 to grab a book I had on hold and I swear it took me 15 minutes just to find a spot. People are circling like vultures and the whole layout is just terrible with those angled spots near the back. I finally parked way down by the tennis courts and walked like a quarter mile. For a brand new building you'd think they would have planned for more parking or at least better flow. Does anyone else avoid the library at peak times because of this or am I just unlucky?

Notice that same kind of poor planning shows up everywhere new buildings go up nowadays, like the grocery stores around here where they cram in all the extra square footage but forget people actually need to park. It feels like the architects and city planners are designing for how they hope things will work instead of watching how people really move around a space. Turns out a fifteen minute walk from the tennis courts is just the price we pay for living in a town that grew faster than its infrastructure could keep up.

Those angled spots near the back are a nightmare, going later in the evening made all the difference for me.
