Spent $1,200 on that new landscaping service in Bothell and honestly wish I had just rented a tiller

Hired GreenScape Pros back in April to redo our front yard. They promised drought-resistant plants and a clean design, but half the stuff died within 6 weeks and the rock bed they laid is already washing into the street. Am I the only one who thinks some of these local landscaping companies are just overpriced and cutting corners?

Rocks washing out usually means they skipped the base layer.

Yeah, exactly. If you don't compact the base right, the whole thing shifts and the rocks just roll off.
