Overheard a lady at Third Place Books talking about the Bothell farmers market changes

She was saying the new vendor rules make it harder for small bakers to set up, and I guess the permit fee went up to $150 this year. Any local vendors here have thoughts on whether it's actually affecting who shows up on Saturdays?

$150 permit fee? Yikes. My buddy sells honey and he said his paperwork tripled.

Buddy of mine tried selling at a farmers market and said the forms just keep coming every time a new rule drops, feels like they pile up worse than the fee. @alicecooper pretty much nailed it with that honey guy story.
