Neighbor told me I was watering my lawn wrong for 2 years

My neighbor Bob finally spoke up last Tuesday and said I was watering every day for 10 minutes instead of twice a week for 30 minutes. I switched it up and my grass actually looks green now instead of that patchy mess. Has anyone else had a neighbor call them out on something obvious?

Wait till Bob finds out you were overwatering those petunias too, right? I'd bet my weed trimmer he's the type to stand at the fence with a stopwatch making sure you hit exactly 30 minutes. Honestly though, I'm just glad someone finally told me my hose was leaking for six months and I was basically paying for a sprinkler show for the sidewalk.

Bob's probably already got a spreadsheet going on your water bill too... @ray_miller41 at least you caught it before the sidewalk started growing moss or something. My neighbor just lets his sprinkler run into the street for an hour every morning and nobody says a word.
