Just threw $150 at that 'reliable' plumber on Bothell Way and now my kitchen sink is backing up worse

Found a guy with great reviews on the Bothell Community Board last week, paid him $150 to snake my kitchen drain. He said it was clear but now water's coming up from the other side of the sink. Anyone else get burned by a plumber off this board?

Got a plumber off the Nextdoor app once and he left a wrench in my garbage disposal, nearly broke my friend's dishwasher when he came back to get it. Honestly feels like some of these guys just do enough to make the problem look fixed then disappear.
