I finally stopped going to those city council meetings on zoning changes
Went to 3 meetings last month about that new housing development off Bothell Way. Everyone kept saying it would ruin the neighborhood feel. Had a guy stand up and claim it would bring 200 extra cars a day. I checked the traffic study. It's 47 cars during peak hours. That's less than a single school bus route. People just hate change for the sake of hating it. Has anyone else noticed the crowd at these meetings doesn't match the actual data?

47 cars isn't exactly nothing though, is it?

But isn't 47 a pretty small number when you think about how many cars are out there on the road each day? I mean, in the grand scheme of things, that's barely a blip.
