I finally paid $120 for a decent snowblower and it saved my driveway this week
Bought a used Ariens off Facebook marketplace last fall after my old electric one gave up. That storm Wednesday dumped 8 inches on us and I cleared everything in 15 minutes flat. My neighbor was out there with a shovel for 2 hours and I felt kinda bad but not really. Anyone else finally cave and buy a real machine after fighting with cheap stuff?

Watched my buddy dig out his car for 40 minutes with a plastic shovel last winter.

40 minutes with a plastic shovel sounds like a personal choice more than a necessity. A metal shovel from the hardware store costs like 15 bucks and does the same job in 10 minutes. Might just be the kind of guy who likes to suffer through things for the story.
