Heads up about the gravel path near the transit center
I walked by the new gravel path by the Bothell transit center last night and it's already washing out near the storm drain. Noticed a big rut forming after just this week's rain. Has anyone else seen it getting worse?

At my old apartment complex near Kenmore, they put in decomposed granite instead of gravel and it held up way better through the rainy months. Might be worth suggesting that to the city before they have to replace the whole path later. Just a thought from someone who learned the hard way.

Wait, wasn't I just saying gravel holds up fine? Yeah, this changes my mind.

Wait, hold up. @jordanc32 you're telling me decomposed granite actually held up better in the rain than regular gravel? That's wild. I've seen gravel wash out so bad after a good storm you could almost go fishing in the ruts. Now I'm wondering if the city would even go for that or if they'd just cheap out and do the same old stuff that fails in a year.
